How a Donor-Advised Fund works

  1. You contribute to your DAF.
You make a charitable contribution to your donor-advised fund and receive an immediate tax deduction.
  2. Your funds can grow.
The assets in your DAF can be invested, allowing your charitable dollars to grow over time.
  3. You recommend grants.
When you’re ready, you recommend grants to nonprofit organizations you care about—like Steep Rock.
  4. The DAF sponsor handles the rest.
The sponsoring organization takes care of the administration, record-keeping, and grant distribution.

Some Steep Rock supporters use this Chariot form to donate with their DAF in just 3 clicks. The service is free. If you have any questions please contact us at (860)868-9131 or email. Our tax ID is 06-6069060
