Give Local: April 24-25

Protect What You Love

As we launch Give Local on April 24-25, we invite you to join us in making a donation for conservation, wildlife protection, recreation, climate resilience, and equitable access to fresh food and the outdoors.

Every donation, big or small, makes a difference!

Your gift will be matched dollar for dollar up to $25,000 thanks to our generous sponsors: Dr. Jessica Elzea Kogel Conservation Fund, Max Power Motors, and Ron Garfunkel & Sande Breakstone.

Why Give Local Matters:

This event raises vital funds for Steep Rock, but it’s not just about donations. Give Local is about community, conservation, and caring for our shared natural spaces. Contributions from this campaign will:

-Enhance the safety and accessibility of our 50-mile trail system

-Deploy staff and volunteers to conduct field surveys to study and protect wildlife

-Prepare Judea Garden for another season of feeding neighbors in need

-Create innovative conservation education programs that inspire all ages

Two Ways to Help:

1. Create your own fundraiser for nature to benefit Steep Rock

2. Donate to Steep Rock during Give Local

By investing in Steep Rock, you become part of an incredible group of humans who are protecting land, connecting people to nature, and ensuring these treasures last for generations to come. As a Steep Rock fundraiser, you’ll inspire others to join you in protecting the land that defines and sustains us in Washington and the broader Litchfield Hills.
