VISTA Summer 2011

In this VISTA, Steep Rock celebrates a landmark year of land conservation for the Steep Rock Association, including the major acquisition of the 68.9-acre Bronson Farmland, a key addition to the Hidden Valley Preserve that strengthens protection of the Shepaug River corridor. The issue also features updates on new conservation easements, trail connectivity and access improvements, staff and organizational news, and the continued expansion of stewardship efforts to preserve farmland, forests, and wildlife habitat across the region.
