Company Volunteer Opportunities

Is your group looking for a team building volunteer opportunity?

Steep Rock Association strengthens groups through hands-on conservation work and offers companies a meaningful way to give back—reflecting a genuine commitment to helping the community.  Imagine your team, side by side, spending the day outdoors—repairing trails, removing invasive plants, or growing food for families who need it. It’s real work that makes a real impact.

We offer custom volunteer experiences tailored to your group’s goals, size, and schedule.  Here are some ways your team can make a difference:

• Judea Garden- Help harvest, weed, prep garden beds and more!
• Trail work- Help build new trails and restore existing trails! Including activities like pruning back vegetation and installing water bars to larger trail construction projects like installing bog bridges or rerouting a section of trail.
• Invasive removal- A great way to improve the health of our forests. SRA’s Invasive Management Plan has identified invasive plant stands throughout our preserves. Help us combat them by pulling invasives so that native trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants can thrive!

We will supply tools, PPE including gloves and safety glasses, bug spray, and water.
