Passport to the Trails
An Outdoor Adventure Created by Local Students
The Passport to the Trails program is back for its second year! This year, students from Shepaug Middle School and Oliver Wolcott Technical School teamed up with Steep Rock Association for an exciting interdisciplinary project centered around the trails of Hidden Valley Preserve.
Throughout the school year, students explored the preserve, making scientific observations, recording trail notes, and applying their learning through poetry, art, and math. The result is a creative and family-friendly trail guide designed to help visitors of all ages connect with nature and enjoy the outdoors together.
We invite you to join the adventure!
Pick up your passports at Hickory Stick Bookshop, the Gunn Memorial Library, and the Steep Rock Association office.
